Central African Football Federation can finally sign contract with François Zahoui.
The FCF (Central African Football Federation) can now smile. Good news for them since the vote of the 2021 Finance Law in the country. The latter takes into account the salary of the national head coach on the State budget. A first one in this country.
“This salutary initiative is a significant breath of fresh air that will boost the performance of the Fauves in search of a first qualification of our country for a final phase of major competitions, including the AFCON and the World cup.” Read a statement on Monday.
This new provision should allow François Zahoui, Central African Republic coach for more than a year, to sign a contract. Until then, the Ivorian technician had joined the federation, which has has always revealed to be out of breath.
Meanwhile, Zahoui joined AS Kaloum Guinea as general manager this summer. A signature that sounded like a departure from Central African Republic. But the vice-champion of Africa in 2015 said he wants to assume both responsibilities.
Back in Bangui since last week, he is preparing the two-legged tie against Morocco for the 2021 AFCON playoffs.
In addition, Zahoui’s likely contract with the Central African Republic could happen this week.
